Smart State PC Donation Program – Round 40

15Jun

Member for Stuart, Dan van Holst Pellekaan, is pleased to announce the Smart State PC Donation Program – Round 40 opens Monday, 27 June 2016.

The program gives not-for-profit community organisations access to personal computer equipment from surplus government stocks.

The South Australian Government aims to reduce its ecological footprint as part of its commitment to sustainability and climate change.

By re-using surplus government equipment by making it available to community groups at no cost, the Government can implement a scheme that benefits both the community and the planet.

Any eligible organisation can apply for a maximum of three PCs in any given round, and each organisation is restricted to one application per round.

Successful organisations will receive a hard drive, LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse and cables.

Organisations in the electorate of Stuart have previously being successful in applying to this program, such as the Burra Booborowie Hallett Football Club in 2015.
