Time is running out to apply for the first round of the Regional Growth Fund and Member for Stuart, Dan van Holst Pellekaan MP, is encouraging communities in Stuart to apply.

The Regional Growth Fund is a $15 million per year commitment to help unlock new economic activity in our regions.

“Not only will the fund stimulate the economy in our regions, but it will build and strengthen our communities by providing them with the opportunity to create jobs, develop infrastructure and grow,” Mr van Holst Pellekaan said.

“It would be fantastic for our electorate to benefit from the $5 million allocated in this first competitive round of funding and I strongly encourage organisations to apply.”

Grants are from $50,000 to $2 million on a matched dollar for dollar basis.

Applications close Friday, August 31 with the successful applicants announced at the end of November.
