Notice of Motion for 30 July 2015

 I move that this House

1. Acknowledges the very good work of the Repower Port Augusta Group, Alinta Energy and the Port Augusta community more broadly to initiate and progress investigation of concentrated solar thermal power generation at Port Augusta;
2. Notes that the report funded by Alinta and the state and federal governments into the feasibility of stand alone concentrated solar thermal power generation at Port Augusta is due to be completed and released in March 2016; and
3. Recognises that the community, industry, federal government and state government are well advanced in their co-operative effort to investigate the development of concentrated solar thermal power generation at Port Augusta.
